Have you snapped a snapdragon?

My snapdragons are in bloom right now. I have three plants in my garden, all of which I nurtured from seed, so they're especially gratifying to see when they're covered in blooms. As a kid, whenever I saw snapdragons, I had fun pinching them at the throat of the flower and making them snap. As an adult, I still like doing this!

I was showing my kids this trick just the other day.. They were so fascinated..
Beautiful color snapdragon! It almost looks as if it snaps itself. As a kid, I would get in trouble for snapping hosta flowers in a neighbor's garden. It can be habitual, snapping flowers. Now I want to go out & snap a snapdragon!
I didn't know hosta flowers have a snapping feature, too. Now I'm curious and want to check out the hostas around the community garden.
Oh yes, funny flowers! I like them. In my garden they are wild.
