The lavander is pretty. I tried to start some from seed this year, but none of it germinated.

Lavender is kind of tricky, it seems. I think we planted two packages of seeds last year just to get this one plant.

Steven, did you refrigerate the seeds before you planted them? I read that lavender seeds need a cold spell in order to germinate. I keep my seeds in the fridge for about 6 weeks before planting them. The other option, I guess, would be to plant the seeds just before the fall frost.
