Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day
Wednesday, August 15, 2007
Bittersweet moments characterized my photo shoot today, as I realized I was preparing my last Bloom Day post from the community garden. I am likely to see these flowers in another place, in another August, but never again quite like here. Come along with me as I say farewell to my garden plot, in the language of flowers.

I'm a little sad, too, seeing the last pictures from your current garden. I hope you are planning to move some of the perennials to your new home.
As always, you have beautifully photographed your flowers. Thanks for participating in Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day again.

I especially love the hyacinth bean. Hope your move goes smoothly!
It is a little sad...I feel like I've been a guest in your plot several times, thanks to your blog. But just think of all of the new gardening adventures you'll have in your new back yard!
As Muum commented, the hyacinth bean is wonderful. I definitely need to plant it again next year!
Onward and upward! Great photos and I must remember to plant 'Bells of Ireland'. I love green flowers! I'll bet you will miss the camaraderie of the community garden.
beautiful pics.
Beautiful Photographs with stunning clarity!
It can be an intensely emotional experience to migrate leaving behind some of the things you love but then nothing is more constant then change and challenge is to recreate the magic and love in the new place.
I hope to see more such stunning photographs through your blog, albeit from a different location!
I am looking forward to my hyacinth beans blooming for the first time. They have flower buds at the moment. Not bad going for here in rainy old London Town!
How bittersweet these photos are... Such lovely, lovely flowers blooming especially nice for you, thanking you for taking such good care of them.
Absolutely beautiful photos!
