L.A. Community Garden Loses the Fight

My heart just sunk when I saw on our local news tonight that the bulldozers have begun plowing their way over the plots at L.A.'s South Central Farm. Read more about it here. Amy Stewart is also ranting about it here.I am angry and I am sad. The world gets one more warehouse for more "stuff," and one less green and thriving place for 350 families to feed body and soul.

I just heard the news too. That is truly heartbreaking. What a short-sighted waste.
I saw this yesterday and it's just terrible.
I heard about this yesterday on NPR. I am so sorry to hear the Comm. Garden lost the fight. Depressing news. And so frustrating.
