Tiptoe through the tulips. This is the lovely collection of tulips at the National Cathedral's Bishop's Garden. Take a look at the close-up photos I took here last year (Series 1, Series 2).

Gardeners and nature lovers share their photos on Green Thumb Sunday.

Christa, I love the National Cathedral tulips -- thanks for showing them off for us. And congrats, by the way, on the runner-up status on The Best of Blogs, and the Mouse and Trowel nomination!

Not one of my tulips bloomed. :( It is just too hot here over the winter... Maybe next year I'll refrigerate them for the right amount of time and get them in early enough to get some flowers....

I love the NCBG! I have only visited in summer, however, and now I think I must go see it in spring! Thanks for the reminder!

Thanks, everyone. I should go back later and show you what blooms there throughout the year. NCBG always has a wonderful assortment of things growing.
